Use these winter energy savings tips to stay safe and warm with money in your pocket!

  • Open those drapes and let the sun in. Good ol' thermal energy can help heat the house!
  • Turn he thermostat down as low as you can take it, and wear a sweater.
  • Set your thermostat, or programable one, to 65 when your sleeping or at work.
  • Do the air leak test and then seal up those leaks!
  • Clean your heating equipment to keep them running efficiently and safely.
  • Replace your filters in your furnace.
  • Be sure to check the insulation in your attic, the basement, the ceiling, floors and crawl spaces. Make sure they are proper kind for your area.
