- Dishes!Your dishwasher takes up less water than doing them by hand. save more energy by letting then air dry.
- Stuff the fridge! With more goodies in the fridge is takes longer for it to warm up when the door is open.
- Laundry Use warm or cold water to wash and always use cold to rinse.
- ClotheslinesHang your laundry outside to line dry.
- Dryer If you simply MUST use the dryer then make sure to use FULL loads, use the moisture-sensing setting, and do what the Geek's wife is always reminding him to do - clean the lint trap!
- Swimming poolSet your pool filter and auto cleaning to 4-5 hours. Be sure to look into solar pool heaters!
- Air conditioners Change that filter once a month. Dirty filter reduce air flow and the AC has to work all the harder - costing you more.
- Air Leaks Go through your house and plug those craks and holes where air can get in or out. See the geeks
