Solar Attic FanA solar attic fan is about the size of a man hole cover that sticks through a hole cut in your roof. On the top are solar panels to generate electricity to run the fan. A ventilation tube runs from your rooftop into your attic and all the heat and moisture that collects is automatically sucked out into the open air. It's a pretty handy device, once it's installed and programed you can basically forget about it. It won't add to your power bill, in fact it will lower it because you run your air conditioner less.
